MBL Academy has partnered with the Black Pounds Project to launch its new mentoring program supporting black business owners in start-up and growth for their businesses.

We welcomed and celebrated the first Cohort of businesses for 2021 to their Induction event on 18th February and we look forward to supporting them on their business development journey.

We are excited to support the Black Pounds Project with Project Founder, CJ Webley and Project Manager, Jen Griffiths.

This work will highlight the importance of supporting black businesses and help to develop a support network for black business owners to not just 'Survive' but to 'Thrive' through the current economic challenges.

Becky graduated just before lockdown and unfortunately her certificate got stuck in the lockdown post!  We were delighted when we were able to get Becky’s certificate to her, and here she shares a bit about her role at Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce.
