Why SFEDI?

For almost two decades, the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI) has engaged with key enterprise stakeholders, supporters, employers and the self-employed to improve their involvement in developing skills.

The SFEDI Group has consistently consulted with a broad range of organisations within the sector to make best use of their advice and contributions in researching and developing sectoral skills solutions and policy recommendations.

The SFEDI Directory Professional Code of Conduct and scope are guided and advised by the SFEDI Advisory Council comprised of representatives from the major national membership and representative organisations for business and enterprise support.

As an accredited IOEE Academy, MBL is fully qualified to deliver SFEDI training programmes and coaching/mentoring services according to SFEDI standards. We take pride in helping you realise numerous tangible benefits for your organisation, your clients, and the individuals carrying out the training including:

  • Learning key business advising skills that can be transferred to the workplace

  • Building your business advisory team and their capabilities to motivate and engage clients and other stakeholders
