Originally the Small Firms Enterprise Development initiative, the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI) is now focused on raising the quality of enterprising skills by identifying and delivering programmes of support which increase start up and survival rates amongst small and micro business communities.

For almost two decades, SFEDI has engaged with key enterprise stakeholders, supporters, employers and the self-employed to improve their involvement in developing skills.

Guided by the SFEDI Advisory Council, comprised of representatives from the major national membership and representative organisations for enterprise and business and enterprise support, the SFEDI Group ensures that all of the solutions provided are best placed and formulated to deliver the highest impact.
