A new online enterprise training & information hub
Midlands Business Leadership (MBL) Academy Limited celebrated its 4th anniversary with a brand makeover and the launch of a new website. MBL Academy received approval to become an Institute of Enterprise & Entrepreneurs (IoEE) Academy in August 2015, with the first client coming onboard in September 2015 before MBL Academy formally launched six months later in April 2016.

Founder and director of operations, Sue Bedward, is delighted with the rebrand and the new look website, designed and built by Sue Cartwright, director of Sole Trader Services, a recently recognised WIX partner.

In a statement about the new website design, Sue [Bedward] said “I feel very humbled by the clients we have had the privilege to work with and support their development journey and business growth. We saw the new website as an opportunity to take onboard constructive feedback from our clients, to ensure we are providing an excellent online (in addition to our offline) service and to address any issues from our previous website.

One feedback that was flagged was MBL having a lack of visible digital presence, through Google Search. A number of clients had struggled to find us online and could have been potential missed opportunities for our business. Another concern was questions visitors frequently asked in their initial enquiry, like the course entry requirements and the length of our programmes. I wanted visitors to have access to this information at their fingertips to make an informed choice about the course and level of support they required and then to decide if they want to take the next step and speak to us directly. Time is one of our biggest commodities in business and we wanted to save people time and make the site interactive as a first point of connection”.

We have therefore added a FAQ page, and clear navigation to all our services, events and news. Most importantly, MBL Academy can now be found in 1st place on Google Search for 'SFEDI Birmingham' and 'SFEDI Training Birmingham', and we have received our first few enquiries for courses and other services directly from the website.

In addition, the MBL Academy team is always on hand to discuss the development journey of an individual from professionally recognised qualifications to personal development. You can see the team profiles and contact details in our 'Team' section. The new website also offers a free tool to identify an individual’s preferred leadership style and we have introduced a simple step guide to our Business Plan Writing service.

We want the website to be an Enterprise Community space where you can find regular news, knowledge resources, articles on best practice, and up to date enterprise information.

We have deliberately promoted the exceptional partners we are proud to work with, who make a tremendous contribution to the enterprise industry. We have dedicated a page to each of our partners on the website including IoEE, SFEDI Awards, Women’s Economic Forum (WEF), and Grosvenor House at St Paul's Square in Birmingham. We are also proud members of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce.

We hope you enjoy our new website and please sign up to our newsletter below. We look forward to your feedback and introducing new content, and new features going forward.
